I'm the photographer for you if...
You love warm, bright, natural photos that feel like you.
Being in front of a camera isn't necessarily your favourite thing (I get it!)—but you still want photos you'll be excited to look back on.
You want a photographer who's calm, friendly and experienced, and who feels more like another guest than someone directing your every move.
You care about genuine moments, real emotions and the little in-between memories just as much as the big ones.
WHY DO I SHOOT WEDDINGS?
I've spent over 13 years working as a professional photographer, but weddings have always held a special place for me. Every wedding is different, filled with real people, genuine emotion and moments that can never be recreated. I love the challenge of anticipating those moments and preserving them in a way that feels honest and timeless.
HOW DO I SHOOT WEDDINGS?
My approach is relaxed, unobtrusive and documentary-led. Rather than directing every moment, I let your day unfold naturally while quietly capturing everything that's happening around me. The result is a gallery full of genuine smiles, real emotion and all the little moments you might have missed.
When it comes to couple portraits, I'll give you just enough guidance to help you feel comfortable, but nothing will ever feel forced or overly posed. I want you to enjoy spending time together, not feel like you're on a Vogue photoshoot.
ME PERSONALLY…
…I'm slightly obsessed with Dachshunds. When I eventually get one, it'll be called Rolo.
At school I rocked an emo fringe. That’s long gone now but the black skinny jeans are still a core part of me.
I'm naturally calm, easy-going and can usually find common ground with anyone. Whether it's European city breaks, secret recipes, board games, football, graphic novels, scuba diving, Japan or live music, I always enjoy a good conversation.
I'm happiest outdoors, whatever the weather. You'll usually find me hiking, camping, kayaking, wild swimming or exploring on two wheels.
If you ever catch me singing along in the car, it'll probably be Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. And if you ask me my favourite TV series, the answer is Peep Show every time.
Next year I too will be getting married and I’m excited to be taking my wife’s surname.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
From our first conversation to delivering your gallery, I want the whole experience to feel straightforward and enjoyable.
On the day itself, I'll blend in with your guests, work closely with your other suppliers and photograph everything from the big moments to the quiet ones in between. Alongside the candid moments, I also love photographing the details you've spent months planning, from the rings and flowers to the little touches that make your wedding uniquely yours.
After the wedding, I'll carefully edit every image, delivering a collection of photographs that tells the story of your day from beginning to end.
Places I really, really want to photograph:
The lost jungle city of Angkor, Cambodia
The most derelict portions of the Great Wall, China
The northern lights in, Iceland
The stunning mountains of the Dolomites, Italy
The bright lights, backstreets and ancient temples of Japan
The remote north-west of coastal Scotland
The lost city of Pripyat and Chernobyl, Ukraine
